Former Steuler Tile Group officially under the name of Panariagroup Deutschland GmbH

Product range gains in diversity and competitiveness thanks to production on Panariagroup's most modern facilities in Europe.

As announced at the end of last year, the transfer of operations from the former Steuler Tile Group to the new company Panariagroup Deutschland GmbH has been completed as of January 1, 2024. This means that both the production plant in Leisnig and all employees in sales and administration will be working for the new Panariagroup Deutschland at the turn of the year.

Brand range gains in diversity and competitiveness

In fututre the well-known brands Steuler Design, Grohn, NordCeram and Kerateam will be supplied with products from the Panariagroup production facilities, which also include the plant in Leisnig and Bremerhaven until the end of March. This means the market can now be offered an extremely competitive and diverse product range. The entire sales team was given a first taste of this new strength at the end of December last year, when an impressive number of new high-quality products were presented during a kick-off event.

Existing series will continue to be available exclusively from Panariagroup Germany

Series of the brands already launched on the market will continue to be available exclusively from Panariagroup Germany. The company acquisition includes all brands and therefore all products of the brands, including their stocks - regardless of the systems on which they will be manufactured in future.

Andrea Zanni joins the management team as third Managing Director

The established management team of Peter Wilson and Alexander Lakos will be joined by Andrea Zanni, who will act as a link to the Group and be responsible for the implementation phase in his new role. Andrea Zanni has many years of experience as a Business Development Manager within the Panariagroup and made a significant contribution to building up the successful Grespanaria unit in Portugal.

Continuity in market presence is ensured

"Our customers, most of whom have been assisted by the same contacts for many years, benefit from the usual reliability of our sales and office team members," says Peter Wilson. "And yet a new era is currently beginning, because due to the outstanding product expertise of the Panariagroup, we will be able to supply our customers with an even more comprehensive range of state-of-the-art products in the future."

Together into a strong future

After all the adversity last year, which unfortunately ended in the insolvency of Steuler Fliesengruppe AG, Alexander Lakos says that the new constellation has given the company an excellent position again: "Our motto for the new start, Together into a strong future, stands for the spirit of optimism that we feel and also want to communicate to the public. The past year was not easy for all of us, but now we have the tools we need to look positively into the future. Together with a strong partner and our long-standing customers, we want to continue to deliver value-adding work for all parties."

The target is market leadership in Germany

Andrea Zanni considers the takeover to be a great opportunity to generate important market shares in Germany : "With the takeover of Steuler, we want to establish ourselves as the market leader in Germany in the future. The current difficult situation in the construction sector will hopefully soon improve and the growing demand in Europe and especially in Germany will soon take effect again. Thanks to the combination of the strong Steuler sales team and our high-performance production lines, we offer our partners outstanding added value at all levels."
